Which headset do i want ?

I have a high end machine about 3k+ put into it and that is jsut the tower. I am a pretty high level gamer and i want a very high end headset. I am looking for very high quality in all aspects and noise cancelling as well. My budget for a headset ? just about $300

If you are a hardcore gamer I assume you’ve purchase a sound card and not using onboard sound, if this is the case id purchase one of the two following headsets. I've used many different headsets and when it came down to all the headsets these two have been the clear winners in my book. I am currently using the Steelseries through my testing and personal experience virtual/true surround sound 5.1/7.1 in a headset this is more a gimmick in comparison to a quality stereo headset however, Roccat Kave 5.1 is nice alternative to stereo but the headset is heavy. At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference.
