Cheap motherbord for i5 3570k

Looking for a cheap motherboard for the i5 3570k. Also wanting to be able to overclock i was thinking this?

If you want to OC, you should not be getting ANYTHING cheaper that the Asrock Extreme 4. The pro 3 is NOT meant for decent OCing.

Doesn't have to be decent overclocking just want to get something for now and later down the line when i have the money ill possibly get a better motherboard. Just something where i can get to say 4ghz.

The Pro 3 is a goods board for the money , just not great for overclocking.

Gaming wise how significant is overclocking. I have a gtx 660 btw.

At the moment, not very significant. Your GPU is a lot more important, but down the line when you need to upgrade your graphics card, you can OC your CPU too keep up. OCing is more of a hobby and CAN but does not necessarily add a little future proofing.

Then it does not matter too much. Look for something with adequate USB and SATA connectors that meets your needs. The Pro3 Z75 is fine if you will not be OCing.

Get a z77 chipset , the one i linked , is one of the best values out there on a z77 board.

That is fine too for NO OCing. But you may as well not get the K-edition CPU if you don't plan on OCing.

The pro 3 will allow some small bits of overclocking , with an aftermarket cooling solution.

But if not overclocking at all do what he said , change the chip to non k.

Well im actually just upgrading from a phenom x4 965 be well because its a little dated. This also means i have to upgrade my mobo. The rest of my system is below.

MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr III 2gb
AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE
Seagate Barracuda 500gb hardive 7200rpm 16mb
Corsair 750w psu
ASUS M4A88T-M Motherboard
Windows 8 Pro 64Bit
8gb ripjaws ram

I'm trying to keep it below £200 including postage.

Another reason is im an avid player of a game called DayZ which is very cpu intensive and because of my current cpu has a lot of lag spikes and stuttering etc.

Also i managed to find an intel i5-3570k for £138.85 plus £4 postage so £140.85

So you are just getting the mobo and CPU? Hmmm I dono hey, I would seriously just get 40 bucks somewhere. You will regret it somewhere down the line if you don't get a decent Z77 but a K-series. But hey, up to you.

From functionality, not much.

In reality though, it has a lot fewer power phases which impacts OCing A LOT and also makes OCing more dangerous to your components.
