Hey guys,

So, I'll get straight to the point. I am building a new rig and need an advice on the chipsets of the motherboards. I'm able to get the ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe at $130 (Quite a good deal). It seems to be a good motherboard but the chipset is too old. But again I'm getting it in only $130, so....

Should I get the ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe with i5 3570K or...

Should I get the newer MSI Z87 GD65 with i5 4670K ?

The PC is gonna be used only and only for Gaming. Here are the other things I'll be buying, if you want to suggest other than the things listed below, then you are more than welcome list them. :)

GPU: EVGA GTX 770
PSU: Corsair GS700
Memory: 8GB of Corsair's Vengeance
SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB
HDD: Already have one...
PC Case: Already have one...

I'll be gaming @ 1920 x 1200. And will overclock the CPU to at least 4.2Ghz...

Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks!

Z68 goes back to Sandy Bridge, and they were a bit of a lost step child, never really got going, the 3570K is a great CPU and less than the 4670K but would pair it with a Z77 mobo, if going to Haswell and the 1150 socket, wouldn't touch MSI....ASRock, Asus and GB all have good mobos in both the Z77 and the Z87
