Could anyone please tell me why my Minesweeper is so laggy? I'm using a FANGBOOK EVO HX7-300 GAMING NOTEBOOK, and for some reason, every time I play Minesweeper it makes my laptop lag like crazy. Sometimes it even crashes it. So if someone could please tell me why it's doing this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

While Minesweeper is open, I suggest going to your task manager and making your CPU under that program go from normal to high priority. Not exactly sure why it is lagging for you so much but, I'm assuming it has something to do with Vista. I recommend upgrading back up to Windows 7. Especially because I'm assuming you are a gamer because you have the Fangbook. Windows 7 supports DX11 while Vista only supports DX10 which is utterly obsolete today. Hope that helps you out!

Well, traditionally, I had Windows 7, but it was too advanced for my liking. So I went to ThePirateBay and got Windows Vista. Also from ThePirateBay I unknowingly received a virus from downloading Windows Vista. So I went back to ThePirateBay and downloaded some virus protection software. Also the reason I play Minesweeper is because it's the only game I know how to play and master completely. It's the first game I played back in 95'. So please help me.

Windows Vista... NEVER!!! Plus are you trolling because I wouldn't tell anyone that I pirated my copy of Windows, etc? If you are not trolling then uninstall Windows Vista and go to Windows 7 or 8.

Thank you so much. I can now run minesweeper exceptionally spectacular. It's like a revolution. Although I'm still on vista, I changed my settings so run it quite smoothly. I appreciate your answer, and your recommendation on Windows 7!
