Hello, I have a laptop with an A6-4455m APU, and 4GB ram. The laptop performs admirably for everything I use it for, my only gripe is that sometimes when a graphics intensive (video) page loads, there's a second or two delay before I can scroll down the page/click/highligt after initial loading.

There is only 1 ram slot, so its single channel. By default, 3.5 gb is assigned for the OS, the remainder for the gpu on the chip. If I upgraded to an 8gb memory module, is it possible the initial page loading response time would be improved?

Solution
.... taht kind of issues are HDD's

i think the same happends to me, my HDD is refubished so i think thats my problem, my RAM is 4GB dual chanel 1600 and i have an OC system so thers no possibility that increasing my RAM could fix the problem.... so that issue isnt inflicted by a small amount of RAM
also 3.5 RAM i think is more than enough for that purpose (you can check ussing windows task manager if you run out of RAM, i doubt so)

since i use CHACHE BOOST this kind of issues have improbed... you should try it
