GTX 760 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 Help

Hello,
I am on my first PC build. I am a noob to this stuff so please keep the trolling at a minimum. I was needing to know if the GTX 760 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 will work with my PC.

Here are my specs:
MOTHERBOARD: (4-Way SLI/CrossFireX Support) GIGABYTE X79-UP4 Intel X79 Chipset Quad Channel DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ Ultra Durable 5, 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, 4 Gen3 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1 & 1 PCI.
MEMORY: 16GB DDR3/1600MHz (Corsair Vengeance)
HDD: 2TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)

Holy Lord definitely.

That is a very advanced motherboard specifically designed for the best and high end Intel Core i7 Extreme Processors.
Without a top notch video card its whole purpose would fail.

It definitely supports all PCIE 3.0 / 2.0 / 1.0 video cards (Basically any card you want to throw in starting from GT 210 ending on Four GTX Titans.

However 4 GB of VRAM isn't needed as said. That is needed only if you use more than 1 monitor or your monitor refresh rate / resolution is higher than 1920 x 1080.

But I can not guarantee anything here because games are very fast surpassing this 2 GB limit (Crysis 3 just used 2.2 GB of VRAM on Ultra). If the 4 GB deal is sweet (Up to $50 - $60 higher) then grab it just to be future proof.

Well thank you both. There is a 2GB option that is only 50$ cheaper. My games are usually Skyrim, Battlefield and I do some video editing. So should I save 50$ or just go full monty?
