I also vote for the Intel build. There was an article here on tom's hinting that Intel CPUs give AMD GPU's few more frames than if paired with an AMD CPU. I also agree with the above mentioned post to put the 212 Evo on your I5. Good luck.

But that also comes at the expense of your electrical bill. Also the better single threaded of the Intel will be more useful in gaming. The FX could surpass the I5 but only by using all 4 modules/8cores. Most games don't go more 2/4 threads, and rarely 4 and up. It is possible, well very likely according to me, that the AMD hardware in the consoles will change it but it will take time. If you wish better performance now and in the next 2 years Intel is a safer bet.
