Doing my first build, how does this kit sound?

Hi there. I am looking at purchasing a new (BUDGET) computer system for gaming and I think I've found the one, what do you guys think of this one:

COUGAR Solution Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 12cm COUGAR TURBINE HYPER-SPIN Bearing Silent Fan and USB 3.0 (Model:Solution)

ASUS F2A85-M PRO FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard (Model:F2A85-M PRO)

Rosewill Stallion Series RD600 600W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply (Model:RD600)

AMD A10-6800K Richland 4.1GHz (4.4GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition AMD Radeon HD 8670D (Model:AD680KWOHLBOX)

CORSAIR XMS 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M1A1600C11 (Model:CMX8GX3M1A1600C11)

Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive (Model:WD10EZEX)

LG 24X DVD Burner - Bare Drive Black SATA Model GH24NS95 (Model:GH24NS95)

It is currently $441.99 not including $50 in rebates, which is an amazing price. It will be my first "real" build (I've built one at school before, that's it). I have checked out all of the individual components and all have really great reviews except maayyyybe the PSU.

I'm not even going to bother getting a dedicated video card, because by the sounds of the reviews, the CPU's integrated Radeon HD 8670D will run most modern games which sounds odd but that's what most of the feedback seemed to be focused on. Skyrim is basically the very height of my aspirations, no FPS or anything like that (except Fallout 3 but that's ancient) so it should do really well I hope.

So, I'm pretty excited about this system, what do you guys think? Also, if I DO get it, do I need anything else for a successful build? I'm thinking of getting some Arctic Silver thermal paste (regardless if the CPU comes with paste or not). I already have a computer toolkit with all the tools I'll need, including an ESD strap. I also have a disk with a Windows 7 ISO and an activation key laying around somewhere...

Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions, I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to this stuff. So long story short, does this kit sound good (as in bang for buck), and if so, what will I need to ensure a successful build? Thank you very much.

i highly recommend spending a little more and getting a dedicated gpu or at least some extra ram if you ABSOLUTELY do not have the budget for that.

How about something like the build below? The FM2 platform responds well to faster memory. Skip the WD Blue. For a PSU look toward Antec, Corsair, XFX or Seasonic.

This will be CONSIDERABLY better than that kit or anything posted. Do it for sure.

Solution

I believe this was an old issue. I recently built my parents an fx-6300 based home-build with the stock heat sink and it is very quiet even in a cheap case.

Thank you all for your responses. I will check out those other builds. I know you guys probably have years and years of experience, and I don't doubt you or anything, but I'm wondering what exactly the flaw/weak point(s) of the setup I suggested are so I can look out for that sort of thing in the future.

From what I gather, hard drive and PSU in particular? As far as the PSU, I can order a better one, such as Antec/Corsair etc. and put the one that comes in this kit into my old PC (which I'm 90% sure had dead PSU. I would like to get that one going again as a backup anyway). What's wrong with Western Digital? They seem to be good drives judging by reviews... I do see why Seagate was recommended though, I have an old Seagate PATA drive that has survived three moves in a dusty box, and still works to this day.

I know I'll get a video card further on down the line, I'm thinking maybe a Radeon 7770. It's just not a priority for me at the moment because I don't play -new- games until they're already a few years old lol.
