so i tried a flash bios update and

That must not be the right BIOS for your board you have.

This is the right bios update for your board.
There are slightly different model numbers and you got the bios for the other board by mistake.
Make sure you unzip the bios file to your usb stick before trying to flash because it will error and say it is not the right bios.
And always back the old bios up first before flashing in case things go wrong.
