(Noob) Video card and Power Supply help

So I want to buy this extremely cheap desktop and then with my friends help put this better video card in.
In the details tab for the video card it says that the system requirement is 400W. According to this (Under 'Desktop') the power supply is 280 W. Is it possible that I could use the video card anyway? I doubt it is so... Could I buy any power supply that is at least 400W and replace the old one so the video card will work properly?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You don't need a new PSU. Also you would need a special PSU for that case.

well that is an extremely cheap pc and you wont be able to play modern games even with lowest settings with that processor and gpu. Get this gpu instead,it would be ur best bet:

The video card makers overstate the power needed to ensure the video cards work propely. That card does not use much power at all, you need to find the actual power use of the card at max load. It's a slow PC with a pretty slow vidoe card, hopefully you were not planning on playing any recent games on it.

I'm not planning on playing anything other than Minecraft and Cube World. I've already talked to some people that have similar setups with the games running fine. Plus I don't think that will fit into the desktop.

My only question is how is it ok to put a video card that requires a 400W power supply into a desktop with a 280W? Wouldn't the video card not run properly?

First of all, he can't use that video card because he needs a low profile card. Second, that is definitely not a gaming rig especially with that CPU so any better video card would be worthless.

oh hell yeah, u can use the gpu i recommended, it's also a low profile card. U can get the ddr3 version instead and it will fit in your pc.

The card you linked is not low profile. Unless you just mean that you can get a GT 630 card in general as a low profile card, which won't help much unless you explain things better in the post. For the price, that is not a good card, a Radeon 7750 is much faster and uses less power or about the same amount of power.
