How do I change my account from a limited to and administrator?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I want to change my account from limited to administrator as I can't even download software or hardware. I have access to the "Administrator" account in safe mode but cannot access my account details on Users Account. Have tried lots of different ways but none seem to work.

You need to be logged into an admin account to do this.

Create another account with Admin status.
You can use that account change your status from limited to admin.
log out of the admin account.
Log on to your user account and delete the other admin account.

The Administrator account is built in and can't be deleted, only renamed.

Logon to the Administrator account normally, not in Safe Mode. If you don't see it in the list of accounts and are using the picture icons to logon to Windows, hit ctrl-alt-del twice in a row, it should come up to a logon screen where you can type the account name in. Logon as the Administrator account there.
