So, I'm trying to build a budget pc mainly for gaming and I decided o go with the gtx 660 as the graphics card and 8gb of ram. I'm trying to choose between a i5 3470 / 3570k and h77 / z77 motherboard. I won't SLi or crossfire in the future but I'd like to have the feature ofoverclocking my cpu in case I ever need to do so. If I go with the i5 3470 and a z77 board, will i need to switch my board if I want a new processor? If in the future let's say I want an i7 3770k, do I need a new motherboard or do motherboards let you upgrade the cpu without being replaced? I'm going for the ASUS P8Z77-V by the way. Thanks!

Why not buy the new Intels on sk1150? You can get a B85 or H87 motherboard because now the manufacturer managed to bring new Bios that can allow to OC much easier your CPU. This way you can save a bit of money.
