So I have a AMD Radeon hd 7670m and I just bought Skyrim during the sale. When I open up the game in steam and open up the options menu it only gives the option to utilize the on intel HD 4000. Is there any way that I can make it use the Radeon graphics card? I already went into catalyst control center to make sure that Skyrim is set high performance but it hasn't helped.

More about : skyrim radeon 7670m

try this: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/35...

if that doesn't work then go into your BIOS and find something along the lines of "primary graphics adapter" (you'll have to dig around, since it varies from bios to bios) and make sure that it has PCI-E selected

Is the bios tweak enabling the radeon to run all the time or just with skyrim? I can use the radeon on all my games except skyrim

The bios would make it run all the time, for all games...as it should

Please don't mess up with the bios.
Try start skyrim in Power saving mode from the switchable graphics card option.
Then exit skyrim and try High performance next.
any FPS difference? If so, Skyrim uses the 7670m.
Same thing happens to me and it is just skyrim that displays HD4000 but using the 7670m

I just tried that and there isn't any difference between the two.

Try going to the control panel and to the device manager
see if the Radeon 7670m is working properly
