Hey guys so I wanna make a cheap budget gaming build around $1500 or $1600. Right now I'm kinda over the budget and the two things that are really making the price high is the i7 3770K and the 16GB of Corsair Vengeance Memory. I really want to do some gaming recording and editing what should be my main priority? I can upgrade the ram later but for now I want it to be cheap and will help me record games. What I mean by this is what will help me in recording and help me render the films I make quicker and allow me to record games but still be able to play in high frame rate? Thanks

Solution
If all the film work you're going to be doing is with videos recorded whilst playing ingame, then I would not recommend the extra expense of the i7 OR 16 GB of ram. 8GB will be more than enough for gaming and for that amount of video work it'll be no issue. I would recommend dropping to a i5 3570K or a i5 4670K, will save you at least $50 right there. Grant it, Z87 Motherboards (For the Intel 4000 series of CPUs) are more expensive, but you can play around. However, if you do LOTS of video editing, especially for more than a hobby, then there is justification for the i7, other that no.

What is the complete component list? There may be other things we can tweak.

EDIT: As correon stated, make sure you have an SSD in that budget. 128 GB...

My specs are below; note that this is the build before. And do you reckon it's worth upgrading to the haswell? Like I'm sort of on a tight budget but if it's for the good then I can push it a little out a bit.

CASE: Corsair 600T
CPU COOLER: Hyper 212 EVO
CPU: i7 3770K
GPU: Gigabyte 770 OC 2GB
HDD: 1TB WD BLACK
SSD: Samsung 840 Series 120GB
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3
PSU: Corsair HX-750W
