Windows 7 doesn't recognize Acer x223W monitor.

I recently re-installed Windows 7(64-bit) OS and I'm having problems setting up my Acer X223W monitor. This monitor was working properly before the re-install, but now is not recognized by WIN 7. A generic monitor is listed in Device Manager and appears to be the only option available to choose from. I found a driver for this monitor on the Acer site, but it's an ini file and I don't know how to install it and I don't recall having to do that before. This monitor has a dual input with a DVI connection. Should only the VGA input be connected to the PC to be recognized as a plug & play device? Thanks in advance!

In the device manager under that monitor you should find a update driver tab and point it to the .ini file
