clicking noise/sound comming from PSU during hot days

PSU: Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 600W (about a year old)

During hot days here, which reach around 28-30C + brutal humidity, my PSU starts to make clicking noise.

Usually happens when I'm running something intensive like a video game.

The noise reminds me of an electical clicking sound.

Judging from that evidence - do you think my PSU is about to fry/die?

  1. Its definitely evidence that it might be, especially considering its not too great a PSU to begin with.

What would be a good quality replacement PSU within the same power range and low price tag?

Are you sure it's the PSU making the noise and not a HDD?

I'm pretty sure. I'll check next time to confirm when it gets hot again, which should be tommorow.
