Windows 7 HD not Showing up in Windows 8

So I recently installed Windows 8 on a secondary SSD. For some reason, Windows 8 OS will not recognize the primary primary drive which has Windows 7 on it. The Windows 7 OS will recognize the Windows 8 HD just fine.

I have run disk management on the Windows 8 OS and still no dice. What do I do?

When I installed 8.1 on a second drive it renamed the drive as C. It boots as if its going to boot straight into 8.1 but gives the option of which OS to boot into 7 or 8.1 after its gone through the POST etc.
Don't know if that helps at all but I though I would mention it in case 8 is doing the same and the different way it boots is confusing you.

When I did the install it was the only drive in the computer. I did this because last time I installed Windows 8 the secondary drive ended up cannibalizing the primary Windows 7 drive.

When I go to disk management in Windows 8 the Windows 7 drive does not appear. I scanned for changes and it still does not appear.
