I found this Dell on sale and it seems like a great deal for the price. I don't want to build my own and was going to go with Digital Storm but this has the i7 instead of i5 and is $300 cheaper: Dell XPS 8500 Core i7-3770 Quad-Core 3.4GHz 12GB 2TB DVD±RW GeForce GT 640 W7HP Desktop w/HDMI, Bluetooth & Wireless-N - for $700.
The video card seems the weak link but I only play strategy games and mostly Blizzard, i.e. Warcraft and Starcraft. I don't play online, just the single player campaigns. Requestiing opinions on whether this is a good deal and sufficient for my needs. Thanks, George

It should work for what you want if you can handle such a low end GPU. Of course you could add a good GPU later if you need it. What price are they asking?

Personally I think it is always better to build your own but that is my opinion just the way I do it. One thing to think about on pre-built systems is the PSU are usually just enough to handle the power with the components that come with it. So if you add anything like a higher end GPU you may not have adequate power just food for thought.

It is $699. I was not going to go with Dell but this just seems like a really good price and sufficient for my needs. Everything else in this range was in the $900-1300 price range.
