More about mobo decently
  1. No, that motherboard doesn't allow CPU overclocking at all. You need a Z75 or Z77 motherboard to overclock an Ivy Bridge Core i5.
  2. No, to overclock ivy bridge chips you will need a Z77 chipset and a K series processor.

The best you can do with an H77 and/or a non-k series chip is force the chip to run in turbo mode all the time.
  3. k....how bout ASUS P8Z77-M, Onboard Video DVI & HDMI, X-fire, SATA3, USB3.0, GB LAN

thats a few bucks more but z77

It will also allow overclocking of Core i5s and i7s without the K, but that's limited to 400 MHz.

Yeah, as long as you don't mind it looking a bit lost inside the big case. Almost all ATX mid-towers have motherboard header threads for mATX boards (but do check before buying to be on the safe side).
