Hi All,

I want to build a custom desktop. I will be using it for gaming, programming and some editings. I already have the operating system. I have no experience in building one so I need your suggestions on what components I should use.

Note: I can only buy from Newegg and Amazon (Global) as I live in a foreign country. My country has newegg service though.

My budget is around $700-$800 excluding shipping cost. My components so far are these:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Newegg)
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ($33.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($122.36 @ Amazon)
Graphics: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 2GB Video Card ($209.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM ($56.99 @ Newegg)

I have no idea on what motherboard, casing and power supply I should pick.

Questions:
[strike]1. Should I get Intel Core i5-3470 or i5-4570? Both have the same price, so that leads to getting either a LGA 1155 or LGA 1150 Socket Motherboard.[/strike]

2. As for the motherboard, I'd pick an ATX Mid or Full Tower depending on your recommendation. If LGA 1155 is worth getting over a LGA 1150, then I'll get the Intel Core i5-3470 instead.

3. A casing that has at least 3 USB Ports (Includes 2.0 and 3.0).

Any thoughts and recommendations are welcome, thanks in advanced.

Sorry for the long reply, been busy :/

Anyways, I've already come up with a new list:

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card
Cooler Master K280 ATX Casing
Silverstone Strider Essential 500W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply
Total: Roughly $800 (Just Nice :D )

I changed 16GB RAM to 8GB to get a better GPU.
Am I good to go? :)
