Need help picking CPU and Mobo for new build

Hi all, well I have almost completed the parts list for my new build but need some help on some parts. I was also wondering how well it would run games and at what FPS. Games such as Skyrim, Battlefield 3/4, Crysis 3, Witcher etc.

Motherboard:Asus P8Z77-V LX or Asus Z87-K (Depending on CPU)
CPU: i5 3570K or i5 4670K ( Which do you think is better)
CPU Cooler: Depends on CPU
GPU: ASUS GTX 780
RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Ballistix Sport Memory
HDD: Seagate 1TB Barracuda
PSU: OCZ OCZ-ZS650W-UK ZS Series 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Monitor: BenQ GL2450HM 24 inch Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor
Opitcal Drive: Liteon Ihas124 24x Dvd±rw
Case: NZXT Phantom Enthusiast White Full Tower Performance Gaming Case with USB 3.0

Using the i5 3570k and Z77 along with 212 evo costs me around £1250, but if I use the latter it would cost an extra £30 just for the CPU and Mobo and I heard you need a good cooler if your using a haswell.

Get which ever you can get for the lower price. Really at this time Haswell does not offer anything compelling over say a i5 3570K. Performance difference is almost nill and if you are using a dedicated GPU there is not gain there either.

Personally I think the i5 3570K is still intel's best bet for gaming CPU's. Just because it is newer is no longer a reason to upgrade. At its best it is only 10-15% faster and in real world you are not going to notice it. With the vast amount of Z77 boards out there it is easy to find one that fits your needs and price. The Haswell is more of a sidegrade than a upgrade.

i had to make the same choice and i ended up going for an i5-4670k haswell just for the new feature the Z87 series boards bring i also pick the ASUS Gene VI for me as i was building into a m-atx case.

from what i have read up there is very little difderence between the i5-3570k and i5-4670k when it comes to gaming. so for me it was what the motherboards could over me. which was a ton of usb 3.0 ports and all sata 3 (6Gbs) ports for my storage :)
