Hey guy, I just wanted to see if any one could have a look at the components I have chosen for my first build to see if they are any good. Thanks.

CPU: Intel i5-3570
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper TX3
Memory: Corsair XMS3 8GB
Motherboard: AsRock Z75 Pro3
GPU: Asus GTX 770 Direct CU II OC
Case: Zalman Z5
HDD: Western Digital AV 250GB 7200rpm
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B5ST
PSU: Coolermaster GX600W

First thing I would change is the power supply the GX600 is garbage. Get something from Seasonic, XFX, or Corsair. Since it looks like you don't plan on overclocking(locked cpu) I would go with a newer Haswell based cpu like the 4570 or 4670 with a socket 1150 motherboard.

Which PSU would you recommend?



£800, Games like Skyrim with mods, BF3 and Watch Dogs (when it's out).

Res: 1920 x 1080, 1920 x 1200
Settings: mid to maxed.

I'm not going to SLI for atleast a couple of years & there is a budget £70 or less.

Is the Corsair CX series any good and I'm ordering everything from Amazon

They aren't great but not bad either, they are about the best you can get on a small budget, anything cheaper is usually garbage(baring sales and clearance items). The XFX is a better unit and is available on amazon for 70.
