Solution
Drop the RAM to the lowest possible speed in the bios. You don't need to change the timings if you do this - so it's newb friendly (no offence intended).

After this, overclocking should be a lot easier - your instability was likely to be caused by the RAM increasing speed as a result of overclocking your CPU.

Try this out, then let me know what happens :)

Humm Well to be quite honest I'm a little new with the way it looks in this bios so tell me basically just lower it to with profile x correct like just go from 1866mhz to 1600MHz :bounce:

I did exactly what you told me to do :) no worry's about the noob thing no offence taken we all start some where right lol.. But yes I did exactly that and it helped I managed to oc to 5.0ghz by increasing the voltage disabling all the power saving, ect. also the thing is when I ran a stress test on prime 95 one of the core fail's then more and more so it's Unstable I'm guessing see I am trying to get true power like finding a good stable oc using [blck] and I can only go so far even then it's still unstable so then I use the multiplier but that only help's hyper thread correct ?? so really wouldn't give me true power or more fps In game's so I would like to see If there is a possible way of having both Oc using blck & multiplier or blck only would be fine with me :) but my goal was like humm 5.0 ghz or 4.8 and yes I keep a eye on my temps at all time's never going over 60c but yea that's the issue I'm having and I'm very grateful you are helping me with this issue also I thought to my self could it be that my CPU is to advance for prime95 can it be that prime is becoming obsolete to keep up with new technology :pfff:
