I have a AsRock H77 Pro4-M motherboard with an ivy bridge processor with hd graphics 2500 (i5-3570). It has a DVI-D port, but I have doubt it is a dual link DVI that would work with a QHD display.

I'm looking for a Radeon card capable of running two of these QHD (2560x1440 each.)

I don't need fantastic 3d performance. It won't be used for gaming. Economy and linux-compatability are of chief importance.

Thanks!!!

Crossfire 2 HD7750's

Use Each DVI-Dual Link ports to the dual QHD monitors

And it doesn't need Crossfire bridge to make Crossfire work. :)

Wait, for linux compatibility, get a pair of GTX 650 in SLI then use each dual link ports to the Dual QHD monitor.

I run Ubuntu on this system. I've used slackware and arch extensively, but have recently had ubuntu forced on me... :(

In regards to crossfire, that is out of the question. I only have 1 16x slot available.

I think the resolution of those monitors are a tad high for a single card.

+1 for this, I think you won't be able to run 2 QHD's in a single card, even when you're not gaming.

Some have multiple inputs, just depends what model he bought - that was why I asked.

I've only found models with "bypass boards" and no alternate inputs. Direct DVI-D Dual Link only.

My poor brain is running slow today. I just looked and this motherboard DOES have 3 x16 slots. Which I think is x16/x4/x1 speed
