This is the build I need checked on. I will mostly be playing Minecraft, BF3 and 4(When it comes out), COD Black Ops and MW3, Trials Evolution, and all Need for Speed titles. Will this run AT LEAST Minecraft and NFS at high settings at a playable framerate? I do already have 8gb 1600mhz g.skill ram. My budget is at MAX $540 AFTER rebates. One more thing, with this motherboard, am I going to have to do a bios update to get the amd FX series compatible? I have read this with similar mobos and was wondering if I have to.

Since BF3 is one of the most intensive games here, then should I be able to run every game up there on max/ultra?

thats arguable with the graphics cards. but the MSI has more expansion slots so you can SLI or Crossfire.
i highly recommend going with the MSI one

I guess I'm going to go with the MSI, you can crossfire and sli and read that you don't have to update the bios to make the amd FX series compatible.

If I have to, I'll get an aftermarket CPU cooler and overclock my cpu and gpu so that I can get even closer to the i5 3570k

I'm not going to be playing that game, so it won't really matter to me.

Whether or not you're overclocking you NEED a cpu cooler. The computer won't even get past the loading screen without one. The cpu WILL get hot very fast without a standard cooler. I'm not telling you to get a 100$ looped water cooler or anything. Just a $15 standard cooler would be fine.

The processor already comes with a CPU cooler, I though that you were talking about an aftermarket one.

Just a question, would the 660ti be faster than the 7870 in the games that I've provided?
