Random Crash on a 7850 GPU (Asus 7850 2gb DC2 V2)

Built a New AMD based system,
all components NEW,..except the Chasis/cabinet,periperials(keyboard/mice) & the PSU(Corsair VX 550w PSU) taken from from my older 5 year+ old rig

Well, i have certain problems on my built regarding CPU fan ,Read here> http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1731356/cpu-fan-...

but apart from that, i am facing a peculiar problem on the GPU front too:
The issue is with the Installed Asus 7850 2gb GPU card( http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/HD7850DC22GD5V2/ ), on my new machine though it works OK with the standard windows 7Ultimate 64 bit driver( it however is very slow & any work lags much) but once i install the specific driver for the asus 7850 gpu & reboot...my machine randomly crashes & again reboots itself ( NO BSOD,No hanging or freezing of desktop). Even on windows login, the machine Crashes & repeats the reboot! My whole machine becomes very unstable until i login through Windows7 safe mode & delete the drivers! After that, windows doesNOT crash anymore & become stable again but at the cost of BIG performance Hit.The Only thing I know that,..this is just NOT right & NOT done...I didNOT pay so much for the 7850 to receive this pathetic experience!

This things happen even i install the drivers from the Asus Driver CD that came along with the Asus 7850 , or install the latest Asus specific drivers for the 7850 from the Asus website or even if i install the latest 13.4 drivers for the AMD ATI 7800 series from AMD website....there is NO difference in the post driver install scenario..system crashes begins to happen again!

* This is my first experience with ATI Radeon & had come from Nvidia platform where i never received such an ordeal

Now why is this happening? I am completely frustrated with the experience!
Is it because of unstable driver issue for the AMD/ATI 7850GPU or is there some hardware level problem with my New mobo or CPU or incompatible RAM (Corsair Vengeance 8gb -4x2gb(CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9) Ram or simply my old trusty Corsair VX550w PSU cannot drive the new GPU(7850) anymore?
I dont know if the PSU is supplying the mobo or the GPU with the proper current & voltages,so plz look at the screenshot here

..if you can fathom anything wrong!

I really want to single out the culprit causing such harassment if it can be possible!

but the more important thing can anybody here please explain how to resolve the crisis of installing the correct drivers of the 7850 & making it fully operational & making my day?

*btw,i'm using dvi ,not hdmi connection for display![i/]

Might try the other DVI port, might also try the card in another system - if it performs OK there, then might try a different PSU with your system, the 12volt feed is reading low

Thanks Tradesman1 for your reply...btw my Brand New Asus motherboard which had problems out of the box as i described before has been deposited at the Asus Service center for replacement.I honestly don't know if the problem manifestation in the GPU is brought about by my troubling motherboard? can this happen... .motherboard affecting gpu?

Yes, may well have a or some bad PCI/PCI-E pipes that carry the signals

Got anew replacement motherboard of the exact same model, motherboard is working fine now..No problem except that the system still continues to crash on windows login screen (always) after installing specific drivers of the Asus 7850 crashes GPU! (only after deleting the asus 7850 drivers,my system is stable again without any crash anytime, running on Windows7 default vga display driver, but windows7 Aero is NOT initialized & nor there is any Windows transparency effect )

@Tradesman1,please Look at the new voltages on the mobo

Please check now if the voltages seems more or less ok now to root out power problems from my Corsair vx550w PSU!
& also please check if anything seems wrong from the GPU details as from GPU-Z & AIDA64 as below,

...I am still very clueless about this issue ..is this a hardware problem or a software/driver issue?(Me New to Ati/radeon platform)
..someone said to reinstall the O.S & try reinstalling the latest gpu specific drivers again ,but i'm not sure...would that help?

Experts..please do help here !!!

Did a clean reinstall of windows 7 ultimate 64bit again & the latest 13.4 driver package from AMD/ATI..but system still randomly crashes after gpu driver install..most of the time @ windows login screen only.Even if i install the "latest driver only without CCC & other included apps in the driver package", system still crashes randomly!

...also i tested my Asus 7850 2gb GPU in another system/machine & it runs good (no crash)

Also, i installed my 8 year old Nvidia XFX 6800GS XXX(factory O.C edition) GPU in my new system (with the latest drivers) & after installation,my system seems to be running perfectly stable now..not a single crash till now, though i have NOT played any games on it yet !

So i'm totally confused on why my 7850 is acting up?....NOT properly installing in my new system (with latest AMD/ATI drivers as well as the drivers from the gpu driver cd)....does it require more power? or is my corsair vx550w psu failing to supply proper clean power to my new rig?

@Tradesman1 & other xperts here please do help!

On the GPU itself, should have some tweaking software with it, try raising the voltage to the GPU + 0.015 from it's current setting

the problem for doing this is that my system doesn't remain stable enough for doing that voltage increase post driver install of the 7850gb & without driver install,my system/pc i.e Windows7 64bit Ultimate does NOT recognize the 7850 gpu/graphics card!

update : upgraded to windows8 pro & also updated the motherboard BIOS to latest one...but nothing helps...system crashing continues as same as before even with win8 & upgraded bios

i'm on the verge of my patience & really clueless what to do next!
