Hi everyone :)

it's my first time posting on this forum :)

I plan on buying a new PC, but I don't know which motherboard I should get.

The 2 motherboards are:
Z87-PRO
Maximus Vi HERO

I want a gaming PC and it must be good for everything. I chose ASUS cause I think it's a reputed company for motherboards. What I personally noticed for the differences between both motherboards it's the fact that the Z87-PRO has the WIFI-GO option, while the HERO doesn't have it. On the other hand, the HERO has the Sound options with Noise gate and Noise reduction. lol The HERO looks cooler than the Z87-PRO. Those are the big differences I noticed in the first place. However, the Z87-PRO is cheaper by about 30$. I also plan on overclocking my CPU and my GPU.

( I still didn't choose between the i7-4770K and the i5-4670K lol ... I guess that will go on another thread)

So, I'm still new with those things, maybe you guys can help me :) Which motherboard should I choose? If anyone has experience with motherboard, please help me :)

Thank you :p

Solution
Just go for the Asrock Extreme4 Z87 with an aftermarket WiFi card. That, or the Pro; don't get the Maximus HERO, as it's a waste of money IMHO.
If you are not doing editing or anything, then the 4670k should be fine; focus more on the GPU than the CPU for gaming.

Thank you both so much for your advice. I decided to go with the i5 4670K to save 100$.
And I decided to choose the Z87-PRO because its cheaper than the HERO and offer more for its price.

Thank you all :)

Okay, wait. I was told by certain people that when I say what you just said (about choosing BAs), that it was illegal and I could be banned. They said I was "asking for best answers". Is this the case?
I've read the rules, and I thought that just suggesting the OP to choose a BA without stating any names, etc. would be fine, and not considered asking for BAs. After all, it is what they're supposed to do when a forum thread has been answered.
Could you clear this up please? Thanks :)

Awesome! Thanks man :) Just making sure; I'd hate to get banned over something that may or may not be illegal.
Thank you so much!
