I am having some issues with the overall performance while using this memory. I just built a new system, and my memory benchmarks are weak. Here are the general PC specs to start.

AMD FX8350 4.0Ghz / Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 (Rev3.0/FC)
Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 1866Mhz (2x4GB)
1.5v 9-10-9-27 (CMY8GX3M2A1866C9)
Running in slots DDR3_1 and DDR3_2

I used the XMP profile in the BIOS to set the correct frequency and timings. Both CPUZ and Speccy displayed correct readings. I used PerformanceTest 8.0 to test the memory, at both 1866Mhz and 1600Mhz. After some pretty weak results, I decided to try and benchmark my original Vengeance memory. Which is 2x4GB/DDR3/1600Mhz (9-9-9-24). I ran this memory at 1600Mhz and 1333Mhz.

The regular Vengeance @ 1600Mhz is faster than the Pro @ 1866Mhz.
The regular Vengeance @ 1333Mhz is faster than the Pro @ 1600Mhz.

Now I noticed on the memory package, that it states this memory is 'optimized' for Intel boards, and states nothing about AMD. I mean I know its compatible, but is it the "optimized" part that could be the issue? It's the only thing I can think of. Other than that, I'm about ready to return the Pro, and use the regular stuff until I can get an exchange for something better (open to suggestions). Unless I am missing something obvious here? Suggestions? Let me know if you need anymore info. thanks!
