I installed a new motherboard and new ram (since the new board only took DDR3). WIN7 would not boot as expected so I installed that again on the C drive. Now however my other HD is not accessable.
The drive shows in the bios, and shows on my computer but gives a "f not accessible" message as if it is not formated.

Solution

Ok so i literally just got done fixing this problem on my computer after installing a new ssd. For me what i did was i opened "create and manage hard drive partitions" in the windows control panel and then i just re-mounted the partition. For you however i must ask, are u able to format the hdd because u have a backup? Or do you have to get the hard drive working without data lose on the drive?
