This is my parts list. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1g5jT
Might change a few things like the power supply and video card but anyway...which ram would be the best for me? I prefer corsair, and I've heard that it's best to use vengeance pro series ram sticks instead of regular vengeance for the new 4th generation intel chops. is this true? I'm looking for two sticks, 8gb each.

Solution
Those are my two favorite series of sticks, have used the Snipers since they came out, but the Tridents seem to have a little more headroom for OCing

GSKill TridentX 2400MHz or 2133MHz or even 2800MHz memory should work great with your CPU and Mobo.
With TridentX you will have more headroom for overclocking but overall it is a great series of memory kits. You will love 'em. Good luck with the upgrade. Congrats on your new PC. Cheers, mate!!

Personally can't support the Corsair H series coolers .... tiny thermal advantage not offset by acoustics .... sounds like ya live next to airport.

However, this performance comes at a cost; noise. At 2600RPM, the H100 isn’t a quiet unit at all and similarly at 2000RPM, it can still be quite intrusive. In terms of performance per noise, high end air coolers from Phanteks, Noctua and Thermalright still reign supreme, contrary to Corsair’s own marketing. Like other ALC units, the H100 relies too much on high RPM fans for its performance when the goal of water cooling is generally for extreme performance at low noise levels

Pick the MoBo / CPU combo and save $100

or $80 if its a gaming box and ya have no need for 4770k

Id avoid the EVGA 770.... SC series has had weak VRMs through the 5xx and 6xx series....and the Gigabyte is $20 cheaper, its clock is faster and it comes with Free Splinter Cell Blacklist game.

1000 watts is a bit big for twin 770s .... HX850 / AX850 from Corsair or Seasonic X series would work nicely.

As for the RAM, I'm partial to these:

Unless you have a specific application reason for anything faster, I don't see the investment in something faster.

That article addresses the h100, though so I'm not sure if the h100i would be experiencing the same issues. Also I went with the 1000watt Rosewell because it's on sale, platinum and I plan on overclocking my pcu, gpu and possibly ram, so I just want to be safe with a little power to spare, you know? Plus, I might SLI down the road, as you said.

Also, do you think I made the right choice with the mobo out of the 4 offered in the combo deal? Since you don't recommend the EVGA, I might go with the MSI lightning version, instead. I have never really used gigabyte parts in my builds, so I'm not too sure.

It will be primarily used for gaming, editing, rendering and whatnot, so multitasking would be a definite.

Thanks, man! Sounds like a good option. My only concern would be the color scheme...having the red sticks on a yellow mobo. Lol do they come in any other colors?

They come only in Red. Anyways, their color combo would look patriotic if you are Spaniard.:kikou:
