I wanted to have two internal storage HDs in a RAID 1 configuration and then have 1 SSD with OS X on it and another separate SSD with Windows 8 on it. Could they both access the same storage HDs without partitioning?

Solution esco_sid Jul 12, 2013 Yes they could although OS X can only read files from NTFS partitions you would need 3rd party software to write to them.
