Hi all,

current build
- Phenom II 965 X4 - OC'd sometimes to 4.2 GHz Been blue screening so set everything to stock settings 3.4 GHz
- 4GB corsair DDR2
- 150GB WD HDD
- EVGA GTX 560 Ti - OC'd profiles for gaming
- Corsair H60 cooler
- Antec Earthwatts 650 PSU
- Gigabyte 790x-UD4P motherboard

I built my system a while back to max crysis2 and whatnot, skyrim, witcher 2, BF 3. I wanna upgrade to be able to play Metro last light, witcher 3, and all the awesome upcoming games like watchdogs, BF4, gta5, etc all maxed out at 1080p

I have a budget of 500 to 600 dollars and another month to make about another 500 hopefully. This go-round, I'd like to purchase whatever will get me the biggest benefit for metro last light to maybe hopefully max out. Then soon hopefully, I can upgrade CPU/MOBO/RAM/HDD.

I just dont know whether to try to get cpu/mobo/ram/hdd now , or rather use most of my budget for a good graphics card.

IF you have recommendations for specifc parts please let me know. I really want the i5-3570k, and dunno what GPU to get...was seeing good benchmarks for GTX 600 's and 700's iin metro last light maxed out SSAO on 1080p.

I'd look to 3570K, the ASRock z77 Extreme 3 or 4 (with the budget might look at the Pro4), a Hyper 212 EVO cooler and a SSD for OS and Apps, can use current for data additional apps, get those in place so you know what you have to work with, then start shopping for the GPU
why don't you just get rid of that awful video card and see what happens from there?

I wouldn't hurry up and buy core components until the games you want come out and get bench marked with various components.

true an i5 or i7 would be the way to go but............. wait a while.
