wifi working but main PC has no internet

wifi works for laptops but main PC usually needs rebooting to get internet. Checked firewall. All was working well before switched off for holiday (no changes made). (Win 7) Any ideas what to check?

took a few days to happen again. Checked network printer worked and shared files on laptop visible, all OK. Tried switching norton firewall off and on and then could download from usenet. Still no web. Switched firewall off, still no web. Rebooted and all OK again.
