Hi Guyz.

I build the following rig recently and i am having this weird Lagging problem in game. When i play games like Assasin creed 2 , Prototype 2 , TOMB RIDER , AMAZING SPIDERMAN and others. My games starts lagging horribly and becomes unplayable., i was palying Amazing spiderman and when i am in the city i get 20-25 fps at most and when i fight enemies it drops to 5-10 and i was playing at 1024x768. I tried lowest possible settings but the problems remains . Even at low resolution 1024x768 it lags. i tried updating driver still no luck windows are freshly installed so no virus issue and i am using windows 7 64bit. Tempratures looks fine too as i have 3 fans in Chassis . Any help would be appreciated . THANKS

download and install a program called driver fusion.
download the latest amd beta drivers.

uninstall your current amd drivers and do not restart when prompted.
run driver fusion and clean the amd drivers and then restart.
install the amd drivers again as a custom install and only install the display and hdmi audio driver and untick everything else that can be unticked even catalyst control centre.

see how this helps.

uninstall driver from device manager or control panel ?. i tried deleting driver from control panel then i boot my system in safe mode and use driver sweeper to clean the driver then i install amd catalyst 13.4 i guess this is the latest version but the problem remains . What should i do please help ? . I tried uninstalling my driver from device manager but when i reboot my system it automatically install driver by it self .The catalyst version is updated to 13.4 but what about driver in device manager which is installed automatically before i install the latest version of catalyst ?

Use task manager to check your CPU usage, and gpuz to check you gpu pcie bandwidth, clocks, and gpu usage. Asus gpu tweak is a also a great tool for that. Its PROBABLY a driver issue or bad card, but seeing how the card is actually running is good too

Bro it didn't work same fps drop problem . I tried playing prototype 2 i was getting 35-40 fps at start and after like 10 mins my fps was in single digits extreme lag . Is there a fix ? what is the issue GPU, processor Motherboard ? every thing is new

If it started high then dropped throttling could be an issue. You NEED,to look at gpu usage, temp, clicks, etc... A faulty card is totally possible. But you need to look at what it is doing

Side note: after seeing some of mauller07 other horrible answers is ignore anything he says
