Please Help - Can't get Crossfire to work

I have two 7850's installed, and my system recognizes both cards perfectly fine; I've tried connecting my screen through either of them, and even tried switching them around, and confirmed they both work. However, as soon as I connect the crossfire bridge and boot up, there's something noticeably wrong - first I get stuck at the "Please Wait..." screen before I can login to windows for about 30 seconds, and then as soon as I login to my desktop, Aero is disabled and I see a ballon that says Windows Failed to Connect to a Service. If I go into CCC, the "Enable Crossfire" checkbox is checkable, but it doesn't work - once I click "Apply", it just reverts back to disabled. I'm only running on one monitor, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled my driver a few times. Nothing seems to be working. As soon as I remove the crossfire bridge, everything is fine but of course just on one card. Has anyone had this problem before? Please help me, thank you.

There are many issues with crossfiring two ATI Cards.
Not fixable until AMD develops driver updates.

That is why I advise everyone who is asking for a good build not to go for two AMD cards and instead choose two Nvidia cards.
I am sorry I have no idea how to fix this issue other than to wait for driver updates but someone else might have figured out a workaround for this.

I have a Gigabyte 970a-ud3 - it clearly says it supports crossfire and I've read others using it, although I know it's only 16x 4x.
