I called tech support about my WD clunking every time it reads/writes and they said to send it back... So I powered down the system, pressed the power button with the cable unplugged and removed the HDD from the case ready to be sent back... Now when I try to boot up with my 256 GB 840 SSD (which I selected to have my OS on) it will not go further than the BIOS and keeps bringing it back up... My boot option #1 IS my Samsung SSD, however before I had realized I couldn't select that as the first boot. My WD 3TB was the only option other than the CD drive... (but I could still override with my SSD)

Solution
When you installed Windows on the SSD, was the WD connected as well? If so, that is where the boot information resides. A partition called "System Reserved", probably 100MB.
