Curing thermal paste

Solution
That depends entirely on the thermal paste.

In general curing is a certain amount of running hours required before the paste has reached a consistency that provides optimal thermal transfer.

The nicer stuff really doesn't need that. However arctic silver 5 requires a few hundred hours of use before it is cured.

I use CM MX-4 and it does not require curing at all.

If using a paste that requires curing you should not overclock during the curing phase.
