Upgrading from my Q8400 (which i bought early 2009) to i5 4670K. I just wanna know if my psu is that good to handle my new system.
My new specs are:
HAF 912 Advanced Case
Gigabyte Z87x-D3H mobo
i5 4670K
8 GB of RAM Corsair Vengeance @1600 Mhz
WD Caviar black 1TB
Sapphire HD 4870 1GB (gonna get GTX670 or HD 7900 next month)
and the TAGAN PipeRock BZ-500watt 80+ PSU... my budget for now is around 150 euros. I'm thinking of getting a SSD and the hyper 212 evo. But im not sure if my PSU is good, if not i can spend 100 euros for new PSU. Im gonna overclock my cpu in the future.

Solution
The issue with haswell and psu's has to do with the very low power that can be used in the ultra low power sleep state. Most are probably ok. It is a moot point if you do not enable those sleep states.
My suggestion is to try it.
A GTX670 or 7950 will want a 500w psu with 2 6 pin pcie connectors so you are probably ok there too. Again, go ahead and use your old psu. If it seems to labor under load or not work right, then you can change it out.
No harm will come.

Btw, nice PSU but i think 850 watts is overkill for my new system :)
