Blu-Ray DVD drive not playing Blu-Ray discs

Hello

I have a Toshiba A665 laptop which has a Blu-Ray DVD drive but it is currently not able to play Blu-Ray discs. It plays normal discs OK. I have tried more than one Blu-Ray disc and replaced the DVD drive 3 times, all times showing the same problem.

I have used multiple media players also, including Toshiba's very own Blu-Ray playing programme.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, cheers!

As in no media player I have tried will play the disc, if it is a movie for example. I can hear the disc spinning in the drive. Windows Explorer sees the disc in the drive and displays the data on the disk there but a media player will not acknowledge the film.
