Are those temperatures are normal?

Hey guys,just got my pc rig - amd fx 6300
gtx 660 twin frozr
asus m5a97 le r2.0 motherboard
chieftec 650w psu
8gb ram ballistix 2x4

i tried to play well not that much intense game like Dota 2 and i checked whit afterburner after 40 mins i had like 63C on my gpu if i'm correct,and it was only 50% gpu used,i didn't overclocked or something,maybe i have to push those fans more? it's now on 30 setted in afterburner,in unigine bechmark 4 gpu's temperatures raised to 71 and then i quited the program,i was so afraid that it wont melt or stuff like this,btw really don't know yet cpu remperatures,but i touched the case and the top of it was pritty hot, well i was able to hold hand on it , but it was more then just warm...So my basic question is are those temperatures are normal ? Right now only surfing internet,having few programs on my gpu usage is 35% and temperature is 9C,any help would be appriciate,sorry for my bad english,cheers ! Btw any idea how to check cpu's temperatures?

Dont panic those are perfectly fine temperatures. Graphics cards are designed to run on high temps. The max limit of safe temp is 75c-80c even if u hit 80 sometimes then there is no problem but u should not continuously have your gpu above 80c.

Clean ur gpu with blower atleast once in a month

For cpu temp download "realtemp". cpu normal temp during games is around 60c

The temperatures are fine. Download and use hardware monitor - it will show you temps for cpu, gpu and harddrives.

I play FarCry3 at my GPU gets up to 74C and it's not even close to 100% usage. Don't worry, your temps are fine. If you are worried about temps maybe add a fluid bearing fan to bottom of your case.

Fans are very overlooked. I changed my front fan and added a bottom fan and expected an improvement....instead I got blown away. My gaming CPU and GPU dropped by 6C each. That was a huge game changer. Instead of reaching 70C I was in the low 60s. and it was all due to the fans.

You aren't using your AMD CPU fan, are you? At minimum you need a Cooler Master Evo to overclock it.

81C in BF3 is really hot (even if your room is warm) for most builds. Try adding a good fan to blow air from the bottom up. It'll pass the GPU heat out in doing so.

I asked about CPU cooler, cuz the fx-6300 is a really good CPU but needs good cooling to get the great performance.

maybe in afterburner i should adjust more fan "power"? i setted it on auto right now,so it's 30%... should i up a bit or leave how it is and get some decent fans to cool down my machine?

Dude, fans can get adjusted based on their range. 800-2000rpm means ...800rpm if you are surfing web and 2000rpm if you want to play intense games. So, don't let your fans sit at one speed.

I let my 800-2000rpm fans run at 1100rpm when I surf the web, but when I play games I crank them up to 1800rpm to keep everything cool.

Those temps are normal. I crank my fans up to 80/90% when playing BF3 multiplayer. And my CPU n GPU reach 65C. I advise you to manually set fan speed when you want to stress your system. You fans are built to be pushed. Some fans have a range ..800-2200rpm and others are fixed...1200rpm +-10%.

Glad you found a solution...manually adjust fans. Systems are supposed to adjust by themselves but I've never been impressed with their ability to do so adequately.

Yeah, you might as well update the drivers. You should have all drivers up to date unless a driver gives you problems. Sometimes updating GPU driver can feel like a step backwards. If you update the driver and you have issues, you can simply roll back to prior driver.
