So, I bought a gigabyte GTX 770, and in order to run it I had to flash the newest bios. After I flashed the BIOS the card worked, however, my audio ceased to exist. What's happening is that the audio is only going through the 770 and not the onboard audio. Here is my motherboard:

I uninstalled my realtek audio drivers, reinstalled them. Twice. This didn't work, so I completely disabled the NVidia audio in the device manager. Still didn't work. In my BIOS there's not an onboard setting for audio or any audio setting I can find in my BIOS. Here's what's really weird to me, when I go to playback devices, anytime there's audio playing, the green bar is going like there is audio to my speakers. So, my system is saying that audio is going to the speakers when it's really not. It's recognizing the speakers and my turtle beaches (neither work) and says the audio drivers are installed fine and dandy. I can't for the life of me figure out why no audio is actually coming out of the speakers. It's gotta be something in the BIOS but there's just no setting for it.

Edit: Also, I have win 8, dunno if that matters.

In windows sound make sure nothing mutted. Most times what happens is under sound devices in windows it set hdmi as main output for sound. Make sure retalk speakers have the primary sound devices. Download the newest realteck driver. In the realteck software make sure system not set to digital output and set the rear speakers as main output. Sometimes realteck software screws up and set the front audio ports as main ports.

The HDMI audio is completely disabled through device manager. The realtek audio is the only audio enabled what-so-ever. My onboard speaker that beeps after my system POST doesn't even beep anymore lol. It's driving me crazy I've tried everything, but I might start flashing back later versions of the BIOS.

I have the same issue. Never did fix it. I need to run the toslink from the TV I use as a monitor to my receiver. I run HD audio from the GTX770 and pass it through my TV.
