Solution
Is this rig for gaming? The only thing I would say is if it is for gaming I would try to go for a GTX 670 or GTX 770 if you can. It would give you better performance in gaming. But other than that it looks fine.

so would you recommend this video card over my current one? : MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 OC 2GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card N670 PE 2GD5/OC? and is it compatible?

Yes that would give you better performance over the GTX 660. Up to 1080p a single GTX 670 will give you all the performance even at high/ultra setting that you would need. The only time I really use my SLI GTX setup is when I play games that support 5760x1080 Surround other than that one GTX 670 is good enough.
