Mobo for a i7-4770k

Quick question ..

Which motherboard chipset will allow me to overclock a i7-4770k, and is one better than the other?

Z87 is your best bet. Asrock has an h87 chip too that released a bios update for "non-z oc" native z87 still has best vrm setups though

Not all of those are great Ocers. How much you want to get out of your OC will impact best option. Be sure to read REAL hardware test reviews on your choice. Don't just rely on newegg user opinion

All of em can certainly. But how extreme may change. Reports have come up on sabertooth about therms on vrm being a bit high limiting how far u can push. Gigabyte reports have been seen about phase and therm issues

Granted I have not had my hands personally on these boards. Just relaying info. But that's what I was getting at for OP. Do some research on em. Actual testing sites not just random user reviews

Almost all Z87 boards can max out Haswell on air or water.
