Ram Upgrade Question (Compatibility...)

Technically you can install 2 more sticks of RAM. The problem is, due to some hard-to-explain circumstances not all ram sticks work together. There are even occurrences when the same model of RAM sticks but purchased in a different time interval just refuse to work together. Best bet is to buy a 2nd pair of the same brand, model and specifications of the ones you already have. Good luck.

Thanks for the quick replies. What I meant was to keep my existing 4GB (2x @GB) and buy another 4GB (Same model) to install in the other 2 open slots. Sounds like it should work though. Thanks. I'll let you know how it works.
