Approximate Purchase Date:this week but could wait longer
Budget Range:750-850
System Usage: mainly school work and gaming but i was wondering if you guys thought i could get away with this build for now maybe play civ 5 on the integrated graphics till i can get a graphics card later. or if thats completly stupid maybe suggest some cards should i just pony up for a cheap graphics cards or keep waiting on it because gaming can wait but a nice work computer is a lil bit of a higher priority can expand in to a gaming comp later maybe.
Are you buying a monitor: No
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, but doesn't absolutely have to be
Location: CA/ San Diego, USA
available
Parts Preferences: i would like to go with intel but its probably a unjust prejudice i have for them so im open to ideas
Overclocking: Maybe? theres a good deal on the memory and motherboard at newegg 100 bucks off and i wanted to get parts that were good going forward but im pretty noob at this so im gonna see how successful i am with the build before i can say for sure on the OCing but with that being said should i go for a non k cpu and a more modest motherboard? or do you think its worth the difference to retain the options of unlocking its full potential and i do want to throw in a better graphics card at some point to play Total war rome 2
SLI or Crossfire: maybe
Additional Comments:
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: my comp is 7 years old and been treated poorly so not very salvageable parts left
