Amd Fx8350K vs Intel Core I5 3570K For Nxt Generations Gaming

Solution

Just because a game will be built to utilize more cores doesn't mean a quad core with a lot stronger per core performance will be slower then a processor with more cores and less per core performance

Those graphs dont say much. for instance whats the clocks on all the chips? stock? an i7 shouldnt be getting any better performance in games over an i5 either. Hyperthreading means donkeypoo right now. its widely accepted the only diff haswell has over 3rd gen is a better onboard gpu.....which to anyone who games would mean nothing as its still far inferior to a discrete card. plus haswells run hotter so ivys and sandys should oc better. just my 3 cents

i love amd, but for now i am building an i5 3570k.......BUT i will be watching amd closely over the next few years, they look about ready to pounce. and to speed that along im throwing my gpu money at amd =)
