I have a Windows 8 Pro machine with a GeForce 285 GTX card. Whenever my screen is mostly black, as in wallpaper or playing a game or even watching a video from YouTube full-screen, EVERYTHING will disappear. The whole screen goes black. If I right click or hit the windows key or do something that adds another element to the screen, I can see everything again. And, it happens on boot-up right before the prompt for logging in comes up. I've tried uninstalling the drivers then re-installing them, but that doesn't help. I've also tried going in to safe mode but this issue happens in safe mode as well. Does anyone have any ideas?
