Will this case and motherboard house these components?

Yes, looks fine, but there is more than one Fractal Design: Core model, so we can be more specific if you are more specific. :)

Also, be aware some coolers used my manufactures such as Asus are very long, and may end up conflicting with the internal 3.5" hard drive mounting area inside the case. You should get a better idea of how long your graphics card is going to be before firing off the order.

Can you post a better link to the card you had in mind, as Newegg doesn't seem to be carrying it. (nevermind, just not listing it under that name)

Honestly??

Honestly what? Lol! :) I edited my post to say I was mistaken, and thanks to both of you for the links, as they both show two different lengths for the product. Now, if you would be so kind, which length of card is the OP referring to? (-: It would appear to be the longer of the two, if the information on Amazon's site is correct.

I'm actually going to change my mind about recommending the combination and say no. The Asus site (which I trust over Amazon's measurement) says the card is 10.2 inches in length. Looking at both Fractal Design: Core chassis, it doesn't appear that the cooler will fit within the FD-CA-CORE-1000-USB3-BL:

But may be able to squeeze into the FD-CA-CORE-3000-USB3-BL:

It's a tight enough squeeze I would not take the chance. The last thing I would want to do is have to modify the drive cages to accommodate the cooler.

Yep! Don't worry. I know this kind of stuff. It will fit fine. Although, I would go with Intel and Nvidia for best performance... Lol

Dear bsahlin393, would you kindly help us understand what the dimensions are between the internal 3.5" drive cage and the add-in board retention bracket inside the chassis? We know the dimensions of the graphics card, and of an ATX motherboard, and can clearly see from pictures of the inside of the smaller chassis, the drive cage in will impede the graphics card. If you could help us out with some numbers, it would be appreciated.

As for the decision to get a longer chassis or a shorter graphics card, that's entirely subjective. It will matter most to your personal tastes, however, a piece of advice, if you get a longer chassis, you won't run into as many issues down the road with long graphics cards. There's no guarantee they'll get smaller, or be externalized anytime soon. :)

If the gpu is to big or the case is to small do you have any recommendation that I could look to replace them with a similar price and peformance?

If you look on ebay, they have some cases for "Buy it Now". YOu can get a decent case for 30 bucks. DONT Replace the GPU... It will be hard to find a fit if that one doesn't
