My cpu fan in stuck in my mobo-Suggestions?

The fan pins are stuck in the motherboard. I've tried unscrewing the motherboard+pinching the ends of the pins with needlenose pliers while simultaneously pulling. 1/4 the four pins are stuck in the mobo, and 2/4 won't go into it. I have an intel i5 cpu.

Presuming it's the stock cpu cooler, have you tried a slot screwdriver on the top of the pins? There's supposed to be a position for getting the pins to snap into place, and a different position for releasing the pins.

Edit: with a little searching, I found this guide that should help you, and the same method would probably work for aftermarket push-pin-mount coolers as well:
