Building a Gaming PC. Need help figuring out what all i will need.

Hi, I am a Console Gamer looking to switch to PC Gaming. I would like to build my own gaming PC. I have compiled a list of parts i will need. My list currently consists of a CPU, GPU, Motherboard, Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Case(Mid-tower), Disk Burner, DDR3 ram, and an HDD. I realize there are other parts such as cables, wires and screws. Please tell me what else I will need( Including cables, wires, and screws). Thanks!
P.S. My budget is $600(Cheap Build)

  1. What's your Budget???
  2. You won't need cables and screws, they all come with the corresponding parts that you need. For example motherboards usually come with a couple SATA data cables for HDD. What's your budget, and welcome to the world of PC gaming! You'll need a psu it looks like thats missing from your list. And a mouse. Maybe headsets and/or speakers.
  3. All the cables wires and screws come with those parts

  5. Yes, a budget is needed. We can line out a computer for ya, but without a budget it's all up in the air. Most builds will probably exclude a mouse and keyboard, because those two items are purely subjective for each user. I game on a Logitech k120(12 dollars at Walmart) keyboard and Razer mouse(65 dollars online), while others spend much more on the keyboard. It's all personal preference.
  6. Looks like we gotta wait till submitter replys. BTW, what does OP mean when referring to thread starter?

I'm using any old Keyboard and Mouse. Works for me when I game.
